Teachers from overseas get rude shock in America A while back I recommended a programme from the excellent This American Life which featured interviews with teachers brought over from Austria to teach in New York. They seemed to get along OK. But according to the article above things in Chicago are a little more challenging for the teachers brought there from across the world.
