BBC News – Big four dominate web Between them sites run by AOL Time Warner, Microsoft, Napster and Yahoo account for over half of the time spent online in the US. AOL Time Warner alone accounted for a third… The barriers to entry may be low, but that doesn’t stop the big from getting bigger, online as well as off.
