The FT argues that the Telecomms bubble is a bigger deal than the dotcom bubble. This figure surprised me – “nearly half of European bank lending in 1999 was to telecoms companies.” And Dan Roberts, the writer, estimates that a trillion dollars of the telecoms investment during the bubble was wasted…
