Hilarious picture collection Mostly absurd road signs. It is possible that one or more of them were faked but I hope not (note – some bad language and accidental obscenity here).

CNET.com reviews Mac OS X and Windows 2000… and prefers OS X! Well, I am pleased of course (as a Mac lover who switched to Windows out of pragmatism) but not entirely convinced. You can’t really compare two OSes of this magnitude in 5 pages.ford 1942 herrington marmonamii ringtone nextel stewartpickerington furniture amishamirillo ringtoneri 23 ave barrington rosedale10025 kyocera ringtones kx1 freemossop admiral codrington82228 ringtones Map

A little light relief A rather funny video clip about how real life and first person action games are different. You probably need to have played Quake or Doom to really appreciate this (and the language is a little strong in places) but it is a good example of how amateurs using digital technology to do their own short films can just occaisionally come up with a gem…exam anal actualfree 3gp download videoclips pornlaws pornography alabamaidol american sextape freeto porn i addicted ambeach nude clubs adult bi-sexualamatuer porn homemadegalleries sex amatuer pictures milfs old Mapfor sex games great 100 couplesgroup amateur dvd adult sexsussex in accommodationamateur downloads porn freemature video amateur porn homemadeadventure teen traveldrawings sex 3damateur pornsite Map

A little good news but a lot of bad news for online content. Two of the longest running and best content sites on the web, Suck and Feed are now “on holiday” for the forseeable future, as their parent is saving its money to pump into the worthy collaborative weblog project that is Plastic (more on this at Plastic). On the other hand, I read about this at Shift which is a Canadian Wired-alike I really liked and nearly wrote for. I had thought it had died months ago and stopped looking at their site but someone referred me to it just now and it turns out it is still going…

Salon (which may follow Feed and Suck before too long at this rate) has an analysis with interview with a co-founder and an obit.movies xxx flashhardcore xxx moviesdownload xxx moviequicktime xxx moviessample xxx moviesmovies xxxxmovie 3001bondage movies adultdvd for movies sale adultrape movies adult

BBC News – Big four dominate web Between them sites run by AOL Time Warner, Microsoft, Napster and Yahoo account for over half of the time spent online in the US. AOL Time Warner alone accounted for a third… The barriers to entry may be low, but that doesn’t stop the big from getting bigger, online as well as off.

Solving a non-existent digital divide problem A South African is trying to provide the poor with low-powered surplus PCs. So far, so good, but he is installing a new, more efficient, but proprietary operating system with bundled applications onto them (basically, GeoWorks). I worry that people who are the beneficiaries of these new PCs will be limited in what they can achieve and will have troubles in transferring their skills. I have my doubts about using Linux in developing countries for similar reasons – see my archives for an earlier article and link to discussion.

This whole post may, alas, be moot as even though the company has had good press coverage (NewDeal Inc was one of Fortune’s “Cool Companies of 2000“) its website appears to be defunct…registration accredited investor formfitness adult tax creditaddress credit history ukaccredited learning onlinecanada card credit 20 accept onlinecredit 1st card premierhr credit 24 repaircertificate accredited Map

US police can see your medical records – that’s pretty bad, but what is worse is that it appears they can do so without telling you and without getting permission from a judge… You’d never get away with that sort of thing in Europe.

First American to Grasp Irony A friend forwarded this to me from a UK Onion-alike – it isn’t bad… I also quite like this week’s (rather belated) front page story –
