Like Danah I plan to stop taking as obsessive an interest in US politics since there is nothing much I can do about it in the next four years.

I’ll still be paying attention to various other political issues, however, here in the UK and Europe…

  1. Don’t forget the 2006 midterm elections – lots of
    opportunity to obsess over marginally-competetive
    senate races!

  2. Maybe… I suppose it would help if there was effective opposition to Bush in Congress. Though from what I remember there is not a lot of real competition in most senatorial (or congressional?) campaigns.
